31 Days of Pink, Day 12

31 Days of Pink, Day 12. If life is so short than why do we do so many things we don't like, and like so many things we don't do?

When you leave something you can't replace

31 Days of Pink, Day 11.
Replace- to restore to a former place or position.
Cancer robs you of a lot you used to have, a lot you used to do. Whatever you might lose, sometimes it can't be replaced. But maybe it can! Maybe not the way you imagined or expected but good things always happen in connection with a positive attitude. Next time you're stressing about a frustrating situation, something that's wearing you down, look at it again with a smile. Look at it in the way that someone has it worse than you.

31 Days of Pink, Day 10: Air

31 Days of Pink, Day 10: Air. Breathing=Life. Without air, and breathing it you wouldn't be alive. Certain breathing exercises cleanse and detoxify your body and  reduce anxiety. Yoga breathes deliver more oxygen to the organs and brain through the blood.

Washed Up

The sound of the waves crashing, the smell of the warm sand grains, the sight of the water on the sand pulling back into the sea, the taste of the salt water on your lips. The beach.

31 Days of Pink, Day 9

Today was the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk in Fort Lauderdale! There was this pink sheriff car and I thought it was the coolest thing. This is me and my beautiful, strong mom a Survivor!! I love this woman. For the past year and a half it's been a journey of both good and bad, we're all stronger as a family, more thankful.

31 Days of Pink, Day 8: White Blocks

31 Days of Pink, Day 8: White Blocks with just a Touch of Pink. In America, we run ourselves on empty everyday. We work work work, leaving no time for play. And after awhile, we start to neglect our needs, and start to not feel good. Stop it!!! Take some time for yourself! Have a balance with everything you do and Love yourself, as well as others and good things will happen I promise! <3

31 Days of Pink, Day 4: The Sea is Just a Wetter Version of the Skies

Today was the best day I've had in I don't know how long. It was fun from start to finish. After a prolonging stressful weekend, my morning at the beach with my best friend was much needed! we couldn't get over the sky, it was so breathtaking, the clouds were so unique and amazing, it felt like we jumped into a painting. We walked 3 miles and enjoyed every minute of it, from appreciating the unbelievably gorgeous day, to acting like little kids laughing and screaming while the waves crashed into us! I guess it just made me look at the little things, it reminded me that I love not having a plan for the day, just living.

31 Days of Pink, Day 3

To me, the whole point of eating is to nourish yourself, not fill yourself up with something quick and cheap. Pretty much everyday, I make up something new when I'm cooking, never sure how it'll turn out but I haven't been disappointed yet! Today I made spaghetti topped with sauteed red bell pepper with baby portabella mushrooms, dressed with balsamic vinegar. YUM!!! :D Balsamic vinegar is said to be a cancer fighter! Also an energizer, anti-bacterial, and strengthens the bones! Red bell peppers have more vitamin c than an orange and are one of the highest antioxidants, and portabella mushrooms are also a cancer fighter and are high in potassium. So think that next time your tummy is grumbling, and treat your body with love!

31 Days of Pink, Day 2: Spread The Love

Anne Frank once said, "Whoever is happy will make others happy too". A smile is contagious just like a yawn, so why not just smile all the time! When you're going through a hard time, your day's not going as well as you'd like, just take a minute to think about something funny, think about someone who makes you smile. Do something nice for someone, even if it involves going out of your way. Doing something for  someone to make them happy that may seem like a little thing for you to do for them, may mean a whole lot  to them. So go ahead, spread some love and make someone happy!
